Planning your property viewing trip
Success stories always begin with plenty of planning and preparation, and we want everything about your property viewing experience to be fun and supremely successful.
We start the ball rolling with either a telephone call or a Zoom chat, meeting you in the comfort of your own home with a cup of tea, a glass of cava or chilled beer in hand (you, not us!) and getting to know one another.
This is an incredibly important part of the planning process because it’s our job to ensure we find you the exact property you want in your dream location. We do this by spending time with you, getting to know you, asking questions about your lifestyle aspirations, any legal concerns and financial requirements, and answering any questions you might have at this stage.
To find you the right-fit property, we want to understand you, and find out more than just the property type and number of bedrooms you’re after. We want to know, for example:
- What do you want to see when you open your front door?
- How far do you want to walk or drive to get to local amenities like shops, bars/restaurants, sports facilities, beaches, a supermarket, etc?
- Which property features are a ‘must have’, for example, a swimming pool?
- Do you want to be in rural Spain or near the coast?
- Are you looking for a resale property or key-ready, new build?
Booking your flights
The next step for you is to book your flights whilst the Micasamo team gets to work in the background, meticulously planning for your visit.
Before your arrival, we’ll also connect you with a legal representative, mortgage advisors and any other professional help you might require, to ensure you have all the information you need regarding the buying process in Spain.

What does the viewing trip include?
Talking of transparency… here’s exactly what we include for you in our property viewing trips:
- Airport transfers by a member of the Micasamo team.
- 2/3/4 nights accommodation in a minimum 4-star hotel or a suitable equivalent such as an apartment or villa. (The number of nights depends on the availability of flights.)
- Accompanied viewings of all properties and locations we’ve shortlisted for you, to give you a feel for the areas you’re interested in.
- Evenings are free to sample the fabulous local food and wine, relax and discuss the day’s events.
- Scheduled face-to-face appointments with a Spanish lawyer and mortgage adviser, if required.
- A visit to the Micasamo office, situated at the prestigious La Manga Club, to meet our friendly and experienced team. This gives you the opportunity to learn more about the range of services available for continued peace of mind – whether you’re looking to relocate with family, become a permanent resident in Spain, a rental property owner, or a digital nomad!
